Marble is one of the most delightful home accents. This past weekend after our housewarming party, we spent a low-key sports Sunday at home with fresh fruit and finger foods. In between halftimes and soccer matches, we like to sit back and enjoy a moment of peace. But even when it’s a modest weekend, marble makes for such a sophisticated presentation of foods that it’s hard to resist pulling them out! This type of serveware always brings out the French countryside nostalgia, authentic foods and genuine cooking.

This weekend, I was delighted to receive Couleur Nature‘s Marble Round Trivet, the Marble Wood & Cheese Board Rectangle and the Marble Large Paddle, three sleek serveware statement pieces. Serving trays were the perfect way of bringing luxury to the dining room while staying simple. They are absolutely stunning showstoppers that are minimalistic and functional all at once. One unique feature I love about their trays is the delicate grey veining that is not too pronounced nor completely absent, making the bright food colours stand out. Putting platters together is always a pleasure when function is fused with luxury!

My favourite item is the Marble Round Trivet – it’s the perfect minimalistic showpiece. I find round pieces to be extremely pleasing to the eye as they display finesse and delicacy. Alongside the other trays, the 12” rivet is the perfect size for the amount of people we tend to host (approximately 4-5).

The Marble Wood & Cheese Rectangle joins marble and acadia wood for little bites. I especially love the rounded edges around both materials that give it a very soft feel.

For larger assortments or pizzas, the Marble Large Platter is the perfect serving option!
